AGILE MONITORING

AGILE MONITORING
A few details
The OPTICON solution was born basically from the need for an agile and fast monitoring / alert system dedicated to different types of environment with practical capabilities and undoubted benefits.
It aims to graft itself, first of all, as an experimental tool to assist the activities of the bodies responsible for intervention in the area in case of inconvenience.
The idea was born after observing, during the collaboration between 2014 and 2016 with the Department of Civil Protection of the Campania Region, all within the context of weather conditions, the enormous difficulties encountered by operators during the weather alert phase.
The solution is based on three basic, simple and well-defined requirements:
The monitoring of the concept mainly linked to that of IoT (Internet of Things), being supported by intelligent sensors that communicate directly with one of the software modules to which OPTICON is connected.
The elasticity of the solution is highlighted by the enormous variety of physico-chemical parameters monitored by these sensors.
In fact, it is possible to collect data relating to the following factors:
The treatment is the concept that involves the installation of data, received by the network of sensors installed in the area, by the software architecture that is the basis of the solution.
It is at this stage that OPTICON begins to show its true face: a modular and elastic idea suitable for any area of monitoring and warning.
Thanks to the skills of the different subjects, it is possible to create data-enabled algorithms to manage emergencies.

The last concept, the alert, the one that can make the difference in many cases.
Early warning equals saving lives or warding off dangerous situations for the inhabitants of a certain territory.
The software architecture underlying OPTICON accomplishes a task narrative in a very simple way and is prepared, due to technical and technological characteristics, to fulfill the alert task of thousands of users in a few fractions of a second.
