Play Italy is the platform that combines technological innovation and a simple and intuitive purchasing experience.

Play Italy was born from the union of four Italian tour operators. Wishing to improve their offer for the purchase of tourist packages, they turned to Fides for the development of a technologically advanced and personalized solution created from scratch.

Fides Solution
To create a scalable, resilient and tailor-made solution we started from the study of the customer journey and online purchasing habits of the Travel & Tourism sector.
We therefore opted for a solution completely adapted to the serverless world, in order to be able to provide a natively scalable product. In fact, it was not necessary to provision the resources in advance: thanks to the pay-as-you-go model, infrastructure costs are linked to the use that customers make of the platform.
The solution is completely immersed in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) world and from a strictly technological point of view the project follows a microservices architectural style. This enabled: better productivity of the development team and optimization of business features. the subsequent phase of creation of the UX and UI was developed by the creative agency Leviathan.
Achieved outcomes
Today, thanks to the new technological structure of the Play Italy platform, the four founders reach an international audience. Users can navigate on a platform that allows them to compare the different proposals, access all the useful information and benefit from an easy and intuitive shopping experience.
Integrated analytics systems today allow full analysis and understanding of the consumption habits of online customers and the design of increasingly effective services. Furthermore, by having a scalable and resilient technological structure, it is possible to manage traffic peaks.
